Service History

The wooden sloop Mary was built in Sheboygan, Wisconsin as a single masted vessel. Her home port was Milwaukee and was owned by eleven different people, all from Milwaukee, over her 31 year life. In 1874 the vessel was rebuilt as a two masted schooner with the dimensions of: 46.5' x 13.6' x 6' with 11.76 gross tons. In 1882 she was again rebuilt: 53' x 13.7' x 4.3' , 18.64 gross tons and 17.71 net tons.
