Service History

The stern-wheel steamer Northport Belle was built in 1869 at Northport, and intended for use as a heavy freight boat. It is unclear where she was used, although the Winneconne Item reported her as landing at their warehouse in September 1871, and she was also reported as the first boat to enter Lake Poygan in the spring of 1872.
Final Voyage

In 1882 the hull of the Northport Belle had become worthless. She was then stripped of her machinery and abandoned. Where she was abandoned is unknown.
