Final Voyage

"The hull of the schooner Libbie Nau was being used as a breakwater for the dock at the Leathem and Smith shipyard when it burned to the water's edge on 9/17/1922. The old schooner had become part of the dock (the Old Island Mill dock) in 1919, when she was sunk across the end of the same dock. When the Door County Produce Co. warehouse burned, the fire spread to the dock and the Libbie Nau burned to the waterline."
Service History

The schooner Libbie Nau was built in Green Bay in 1867 by Gregory Port for use in the lumber trade.
