Service History

The wooden steam powered fish tug Grayling was built by Carroll Brothers in Buffalo, New York in the year 1876. The offical registry number is US85444.
Final Voyage

The steam powered fish tug Grayling was abandoned in the Sheboygan River near Sheboygan in approximately 1935. In May of 1936, the vessel was moved to Milwaukee where she was sunk near the Holton Street Bridge. Then on September 20, 1936 the Grayling was taken out onto Lake Michigan, somewhere off the coast of Milwaukee, and scuttled by the U.S. Coast Guard.
