The three Pilot Island shipwrecks

Attraction
Description
The Pilot Island shipwrecks rest in 20-50 feet of water where the remains of three shipwrecks, J.E. Gilmore, A.P. Nichols, and Forest can be investigated. A popular shipwreck for new divers, as well as snorkelers and kayakers, the Pilot Island wrecks can often be seen from the surface. The site is marked with a seasonal Wisconsin Historical Society shipwreck mooring buoy, allowing boats to tie up directly above the site while protecting the shipwreck from inadvertent anchor damage and providing a safe point of ascent and descent for divers.
