Final Voyage

The two masted schooner C.G. Breed sunk south of Manitowoc with a cargo of railroad ties in Lake Michigan in March of 1878. Apparently, she was raised and repaired since she capsized and foundered near Ashtabula, Ohio about mid lake of Lake Erie, November 14, 1879.
