Final Voyage

"On Saturday night, 3/16/1861, the schooner Sir William Wallace loading wood at Amsterdam, was forced to change her position when a Northeast gale sprung up. After getting clear of the pier, she was driven ashore. The entire crew was eventually rescued, but some were forced to spend the night in the rigging. "
