The wooden tug Myra was built in Menominee in 1884 or 1885 and was used to carry lime and other miscellaneous freight. Her official registry number was 91790.

"The tug Myra has been hauled out at Philbrock's yard preparatory to receiving an overhauling. The Myra was built at Marquette in 1884 . Door County Advocate May 16,1891. Note: other sources say she was built at Menominee.

Last Document of Enrollment Surrendered: Marquette: 10/21/1891: "Total loss".
The Myra was burned to a total loss at the lime kiln wharf near Little Sturgeon Bay on Henderson's Point on the evening of 10/30/1891. The vessel's machinery was to be removed and taken to Menominee.

"The tug Myra, owned by Menominee parties, was destroyed by fire while lying at the lime-kiln wharf near Little Sturgeous, on Friday evening, and is a total loss. The craft was only of only about fifty tons burden, and had been used in carrying lime and doing miscellaneous freighting on Green bay. She was built at Menominee in 1884 and was valued at about $600. No insurance." Door County Advocate October 31, 1891
