Service History

The wooden two masted schooner Mary was built in 1848 at Milan, Ohio by the shipbuilder Salmon Ruggles. The original registry number was 16409. The first enrollment was issued at Sandusky, Ohio on October 7, 1848. The final enrollment was surrendered at Milwaukee on June 12,1883 as "vessel broken up, total loss" On June 12, 1883 a second enrollment was issued at Chicago for the Annie Dall with the new registry number 106182. So, the Mary was enrolled as a new vessel with a new registry number.
Final Voyage

Final Enrollment: surrendered at Chicago: June 12, 1883: "vessel Broken Up". The schooner Mary was apparently rebuilt as the Annie Dall.
