Service History

The Buccaneer was built in Oconto, Wisconsin in 1943 as a fishing tug. She was built of white oak, fully enclosed, pilot house amidship, with a three cylinder Kahlenberg oil engine.

She was for sale in 1945.

Early in 1960 the fishing tug Buccaneer collided with the tanker Clark of Milwaukee 8 miles south of Kewaunee.
