Final Voyage

In 1881 there were two different tugs built. This one (enrollment number 3191) was built at Fort Howard and was smaller than the Boss #3197 which was built at Saugatuck, Michigan.

It appears that the larger, Saugatuck, #3197 was the vessel that sank in Lake Michigan near Two Rivers, Wisconsin. See separated file for the other Boss.

If this information is correct, than the final disposition of the tug Boss, built at Fort Howard, Wisconsin, #3191 is unknown
