Service History

The A.H. Newbold was a two masted schooner with a scroll head. She was also referred to as A.W. Newbold and Newbold.
Final Voyage

The A.H.Newbold was blown ashore 3 miles north of Wind Point. It was stated that the Newbold was a total loss. Other accounts later reported that she was probably recovered since she was reliably reported to have been lost at Buffalo, New York in 1852."
