was docked near Tortenson's pier in hedgehog Harbor. She was loaded and ready to depart from Milwaukee when the storm rolled in off the lake. Captain Peter Anderson of Milwaukee tried to secure the vessel by dropping anchor, but it failed to hold. At about 7 pm, the craft hit shore and was lost.."
