"The gravel scow Laura Johnson went ashore off North Point Racine, eight miles north of the Life-Saving station. The scow then was stripped and abandoned." "Abandoned the Jonson. Racine, July 19, 1890-The scow Laura Johnson, which went ashore at North point during a northeast gale, has been stripped of her rigging and abandoned."
