Final Voyage

The schooner Graham Brothers was abandoned in 1905 on the eastern shore of the Sheboygan River. Her last document was surrendered at Chicago on 6/29/1905. Abandoned.
Today

The majority of the wreck is located under water and/or under river sediments. The Graham Brothers shipwreck site consists primarily of the lower hull section of the 1874 schooner. The starboard section is better preserved than the portside. Without excavation of the hull, it cannot be determined to what degree the keel section and by association the mast steps remain intact. It was determined that there is a much greater degree of preservation underwater at an average depth of 1 to 1.5 meters below the surface.
